Platform Nation this morning announced that it is participating in the Nokia’s XBox 360 Content Creation Challenge!

Do you have the most awsomest XBox 360 theme in your head? Get it outta there, then, and create your perfect theme. If it really is the most awesomest theme evar, you could grab up an amazing array of amazing loot and a content-creation contract with a major publisher.

Grand prize for the theme voted best includes:

•  A Blu-Ray DVD player;
•  A 42′ LCD 1080p TV;
•  A5.1 Digital Surround Sound Home Theater;
•  A Nokia N81 Phone;
•  Five XBOX 360 Video Games (valued at $2499.99); 
•  The winning theme will get published by Disruptive Publishers, Platform Nation’s partner in the challenge;
•  The designer gets royalty payment contract from Disruptive Publishers for future content.

 Holy crap! Read that again. Let it sink in. This package is freakin’ amazing. If Hawkes and I weren’t complete design retards (good lord, just look at our site), I’d make designing themes my full-time job.

In addition, when you submit through Platform Nation, the entire community of Platform Nation-affiliated designers are pooled together and compared to other communities entered in the contest. Communties with the highest cumulative score of all the themes they enter win MS Points Cards, which PN will pass on to you.
