Great show you two. Glad Wacko Jacko has to get a lawyer to now file a lawsuit.. but the George Idea was brilliant.
Also.. Midway is one of my Favorite companies and seeing how its turned to shit, I wish they would listen to the fan base to do a 180 and recover. Be awesome if they did some games like a Hydro Thunder Sequal.. or maybe a Rush 2 DS port with Online, Who knows…

I don’t think Burns and Sheppard are wrong about XBLA–and there’s a pretty simple way Microsoft could remedy the problem…somewhat.
They’re always touting XBLA, or XNA, or [insert other MS cause celebre] as “the YouTube of gaming.” Well, YouTube is about 99.5% shit, but the difference is YouTube has user ratings/reviews–as do iTunes, Amazon, Netflix, and pretty much any other site that delivers downloadable content. MS should implement user ratings and let the cream of XBLA rise to the top.

Thanks for the shoutouts, guys! And thanks for yet another XXX-Rated show! This is the only podcast that never fails to make me laugh, sweat and feel somewhat aroused (by Hawkes, of course.) every episode!
Anyways, keep up the good work! …oh, and Edie, YOU should win Turok for that Brontosaurus sound.

I had to chime in on a couple things as I tend to always do
I kind of agreed with the devs of N+, there are so many sh!t games on the arcade that I tend not to check it out anymore.
M$ support, eh. I have had so much issues with them lately, none, i repeat, none of my games work on my repaired console, unless i’m online with it. Which btw, its not because its kept in my bedroom so because it red lighted on me all the games I bought don’t work for me. And on top of that, none of my games work for my wife if she is or isn’t online because it wasn’t her gamertag used to buy the games. The worst thing is this isn’t just me this effects, ask Thrillhouse17 who is on his 7th 360, none of his games work now if he is online or not. He has bought more arcade games then anyone I know and for him to get screwed like that it just wrong. Its just wrong for MS to treat there loyal customers like this. So you might hear one good story like a kid getting his 360 signed but there is 20 more for every customer getting the shaft, we are just numb to this now as it has happened so much.
I think that we all kind of knew that Haze wouldn’t be a full exclusive. We played the game last year at pax(nothing mind blowing) and interviewed the dev’s for the game and when asked if it was maybe just a timed exclusive they kind of ducked the question without giving us an answer.
Anyways another great show, Hawkes your voices are awesome, Edie, sorry but I wish i was able to say the same for your impersonations.

BTW sometime after the show came out (or so I think) I saw this at GSB,
they seem to now be promoting it, maybe because the dev spoke out? i don’t know but it did seem random to appear

Just to respond to a few of these comments:
First, that brontosaurus imitation has got to be the worst thing I’ve ever recorded. It sounded better in my head before I actually did it.
Second, George is one of our fill-in standby hosts right now. Don’t worry, he’ll be on soon, I’m sure. Right now our system is slightly taxed with two people, and adding a third would probably result in quality degradation. Rather than serve you a three-man show that sounds like ass, we’re sticking with two people until we get more certain we won’t have dropouts and artifacts. I keep in touch with George regularly and he’s on the absolute top of our list of “on deck” co-hosts.
Third, Cyberpunks Gaming Podcast this week was HILARIOUS!!! Love you guys.
Finally, Mik is right. Ratings are pretty much a no-brainer for MS, now. What with the XNA wave on the way, it’s really the ONLY way to make the “YouTube of Video Games” thing work.

Hawkes, they have to fix the problem, they have to listen to the community, they have to suck our cocks, why?? Because they built a piece of shit console, that not only could ruin XBOX, but Microsoft in general. This was a huge set back with the whole RROD issues, and all this listening to the community and making Live better is what they have to do, in order to keep gamers. In the background Microsoft is still loosing money, and sucks or wood because they fucked up bad.
