14 Mar 2008You know what I hate about WordPress? How easy everyone says it is.
Oh, yes, it’s soooo easy. Any drooling, cross-eyed product of cousin love could whip out a multi-layered, perfectly designed, rock-solid website.
On the plus side, this drooling, cross-eyed product of cousin love figured out what was wrong with comments. It was one box checked. [...]

13 Mar 2008Hey guys. Well, I’ve pretty much reached the end of what I can do with this site. We’ve got more bugs than a beehive, right now, and I am not smart enough to figure it out.Anyone here who’s a WordPress guru? I’m lost. And as an update, yes, we know the comments aren’t working. It’s the one [...]

13 Mar 2008Yeah, so we were down for a day. That was my fault. I kinda deleted something I shouldn’t have before redirecting it elsewhere.Fortunately, the guys over at Dreamhost support team have been absolutely amazing. I even have a resident, self-professed “WordPress god” on their support staff helping me figure out how to fix all the cock-eyed [...]

12 Mar 2008What can I say. We’re finally up and running on this new site. And notice. No flowers. There are some hitches to the new site, however, and try as I may, I haven’t figured out a solution. 9 Mar 2008We know you wanted longer than usual for this episode, but it was so worth the wait.

8 Mar 2008Are you waiting with excitement for GameHounds Episode 7?
Well, you’ll have to wait a little to get it.
Because of Saturday’s switch over to Daylight Savings Time, the editing and posting process for GameHounds this week will be shortened by one hour. While that doesn’t sound like a lot, it’s a precious hour of sleep for the GameHound who edits and posts the episode.
So, rather than creating a cranky Hound, we’ll be posting Episode 7 early Sunday night rather than late Saturday night.
Don’t worry. You’ll still get all the regular amount of hilarity, you’ll just have to wait a few more hours than usual to hear it.
Oh, and by the way, turn your clocks forward tonight before you go to sleep Saturday night. You’ll thank me for it later.

7 Mar 2008What the hell am I doing? I’m just crazy with deals the last couple days.
C-c-c-craaaaazy with deals.
Another one that’s just not bad no matter how you slice it.
SonyStyle Store is offering a fairly sweet deal on a 40 gig PS3 with a Six Axis controller (ie: the non-rumbling one) for $399.99 with free shipping. But you can work an angle to knock a C-note off the price.
At the check out screen, you’re offered a Sony credit card, and if you accept, you get a $100 credit. Apply for the card, and if you’re approved (which is immediate as long as you have good credit), the price of that PS3 immediately drops to $300.
You can also pull the same trick with the 80 gig PS3, knocking the $500 price to $400 delivered to your door.
That’s a mighty nice deal, if you have the credit rating.
