It’s Tuesday, and although I had intended to post this at 6 a.m. this morning, the GameHounds web-posting applicatation decided to be a little bitch overnight and spent those hours virtually puking in the virtual bathroom.

And no, I don’t think it’s pregnant. Maybe it ate a bad clam or something.

Anyway, if you weren’t aware, Spore Creature Creator, the “starter kit” for the new Spore game, launched today. It gives you a chance to play God with fiddly bits and dangly things for your Spore creatures. The full version of Will Wright’s hugely anticipated title will hit stores in September.

Of course, Wright, EA and Maxis hope this is just the entry-level drug for casual gamers. Making it all the more appealing is that, with the Creature Creator, players can make their Spore creatures and then immediately share them with friends of via YouTube.
