Never in our wildest dreams did we think that we’d have to bleep so much of our “clean” podcast…

Simon DI is out of town, sunning himself down in Mexico way, so Cooper Hawkes steps in this week to discuss the post-E3 gaming news. It was all going so well until Edie mentions Wii Music, and then all heck broke loose. Let’s just say Hawkes went into a fit of obscenities that would make George Carlin swoon.

Lots of news, and given that we need to post this ASAP (hey, Project Runway is on…) we won’t be posting any links or show notes. Just cover your ears and enjoy the bleeps!

  • My god… that Rant for Nintendo, Hawkes. Now finding out (hopefully it isn’t true) that the Wii Music was mostly staged…

    My blood is boiling.

    Good rant. Outstanding editing.

Give us the raw version on the weekender….

As your resident smart face, I agree with Maj - make the unbleeped rant as a special coda to the weekender!

  • Agreed with everyone. Would love to hear an unedited version of the rant, even though I don’t think it could be better than the censored one.

And, I love that Hawkes said that Levine might be a tea guy. As a former coffee junkie turned into a tea girl, I would have thought the same thing. :)

  • Loved the show, very hilarious.

However, I do have one little problem. Due note my love for you guys and this does not waiver because of this.

Rockband DLC so far, will work in Rockband 2. All DLC after RB2 will work on both games.

RB2 does not come with any of the DLC that is currently out there.

There will be 20 more songs as Free DLC after the release of RB2.

Since Harmonix had to relicense all the tracks that it was wanted to export to RB. Since they wanted to keep it cool with Record Labels, yes, there will be small fee of $5 or less.

Anyways, keep up the good work.
