It only took six months for it to happen, but finally Cooper Hawkes and Edie Sellers broach the subject that you all think about, but none will talk about. What does Whoopi Goldberg call it? The va-jay-jay?
But more importantly, they also discuss major news in the gaming world, not limited to rumors about Grand Theft Auto IV’s DLC (including release date), more rumors about the Xbox 360 price drop and how it might include a motion controller, Rush’s Moving Pictures album coming to Rock Band, Duke Nukem 3D details, and Loadrunner coming to Xbox Live Arcade.
There’s also much Sony love as well.
Links and notes after the jump…
Topics discussed include:
And don’t forget to enter our Fable 2 Pub Games code contest. A few lines of poetry or prose could win big.
Enjoy.

Apropos of nothing, but you guys have excellent hosting, because I can dl the podcast quicker than any other podcast I dl.
As far as Japan goes, I’d say that the news is that the 360 is still making slow, slow but definite progress, seeing how they basically sold zero in the last generation.

I suffered a blood clot as a baby that caused brain damage and my mother was told that I would be a quadriplegic and would be dead in six weeks. That was thirty six years ago. The drugs that they gave me caused asthma, synus, convulsions and I used to make jokes about epyleptics on the dance having a seisure, and everyone thinking it was a new dance routine.
I remember one person said to me, that I wouldn’t make fun of the illness if I had it myself. How the ignorant make me laugh.

Hawkes, if you’re concerned about The Force Unleashed being too linear and repetitive, you’ll want to stay well away from Too Human. I don’t know if I’ve ever played a game that more aptly exemplified “linear” or “repetitive.”

I already paid for 2 of those fucking Rush songs once. Once on the disc and once as DLC. Oh yeah, I already bought “Working Man” twice too… goddamnit.

I have one word for you: “Buckwheats!” (which won’t make any sense to most)
But seriously, I understand the people that think Galaga Legions (XBLA) is a fantastic game as well as those that heavily criticize it. In the the context of the Galaxian/Galaga games (my personal favorite is Gaplus), it doesn’t play the same and is a real turn-off for fans. Out of that context, the game is excellent. I recommend it, but I also recommend that older games seek out the Namco Museum collections.

I am not sure what Edie wants for the Eull Gibbons answer. “Ever Eat a Pine Tree?”
He’s the Grape-Nuts guy.

Just completed listening to the show - Engineer Kevin is *awesome*. I may have to divorce The Wife. I asked her at dinner - she didn’t know!

During the discussion on the GTAIV DLC, I’m surprised no one mentioned Shivering Isles. I think that is the closest comparison, and remember it was 2400 MS pts (and, to be fair, was 10-20 hours of content).
