Welcome to a new week and a new episode of GameHounds Podcast. And welcome to the first week of LISTENER APPRECIATION MONTH, where GamerEdie Sellers and Cooper Hawkes give out all the great swag they got from GDC 08, E3 08 and PAX 08!
On this week’s episode, Edie and Hawkes discuss their usual stuff: Gaming and the video-game industry. And after Episode 31′s discuss of the va-jay-jay, they also give equal time to the man meat. It wasn’t intentional, but let’s face it, these two just can’t stay on topic. And listeners love them more for it, don’t they?
When they aren’t delving into the masculine nethers, they discuss Square Enix’s failed attempt to merge with Tecmo, Microsoft’s DLC clearance sale, rumors that Dead Space has been banned in three countries, new Halo 3 achievements, and Europe’s new Xbox Live Film Club.

I totally agree that older DLC should be cheaper, Ive spent way to much on microsoft points

Great show,
Edie, you deserve a good pounding if you buy another Xbox before you go ps3!! This show’s only flaw is that there is no hands on talk about the ps3.I look foward to your viewpoints, and hope you will come to the darkside soon.

Believe me the lack of PS3 in my household is NOT from lack of trying.. though I guess I could go offer blow-jobs for money to purchase one..
..is it really worth it?
As for the “dark side” technically we’re already on the Dark Side, Sony’s the one with two hit consoles in a row, Microsoft’s the underdog…
..but PS3 got Vader.. I’m CONFUSED

Why buy a new 60 gig console? Buy the 120 gig HD instead. Then you will be able to transfer all of your content to the new drive. If you do the 60 gig, you will have to manually migrate all your saves via a memory card and redownload your DLC.
The 120 gig HD dropped by $30 as well. ($150 now).
The Elite SKU is kinda a ripoff now because you pay $100 more for only 60 gigs.
