Just thought you should know that you can change the difficulty level in Fallout 3. You have to press the start button and click on settings.

Don’t be too harsh on the people trying to get the new 360 dash early. After all, you know what happens to people who wait too long, right? They end up entering contests for betas that ended three days ago.

Yeaaaahhh… My bad on that one.
I asked Hawkes before the show if that was still a good code to give out (I failed to check myself) and he didn’t say no.
But that’s my bad. I hadn’t realized it ended two days before we recorded.
Of course, I found out the next morning…
And yes, there’s a big difference between two days and three weeks…. But that doesn’t make me feel much better, does it?

The best part about that drunk dial is the next morning I got a phone call from a guy wondering why I called him at 4am. When I checked my phone I had called 3 other numbers before I had dialed yours right.

The “publish it or let it go” concept will take something like the ESA to require. I doubt they’ll do that because of the countless bad games that just didn’t cut it by the Beta Test. STILL, there are publishers like Big Fish with low overhead….
I finally finished LBP story mode. The included levels are very good, but a few of them will have you cursing every 5 seconds. The last level wasn’t that hard, but it had me wondering how the hell they did that. I’ve played the Gradius level (search for “libidius.jp”)–it’s worth a look.
BTW, when I wrote “no servers,” Sony had taken them down for a few days. Then came patch 1.03, and things seem to be working well. Sometimes you’ll get “level failed to load,” so just try again.
