You guys had some good points on how to spot a cheater. I’d also like to add that driving game achievements are very telling. If a game has a 500 mile and 1000 mile achievement, there should be a 4 to 16 hour time difference between them, depending on the game. Test Drive Unlimited has several achievements that are very time-dependent because the best average you can make on the game is about 1 mile-a-minute (60mph) in REAL time. Cheaters will have a lot of these inconsistencies.
On an earlier Major Nelson podcast, Larry hinted that if you share your gamertag, you can also earn the “Cheater” tag. This is discovered by checking where you were. If you go online in the USA and China regions within 2 hours of each other, you either have a time machine or you’re sharing your gamertag.

Get Left4Dead for the PC. You can find people with microphones and just play with them. The community mods and maps will make this game outlast the console tenfold. Valve is also very loyal to PC Gamers, just look at the free updates for Team Fortress 2.

Just recently found your podcast. Really enjoyed the discussions. You take a little different view from most podcasts and discuss bigger picture issues rather than just what games you’re playing. Keep up the good work. And BTW, dark meat is best.
