microphoneUgh.

Mongo like this episode. Balmer like, too.

Commander Tim nice man. So is Cooper Hawkes. Edie Sellers have pretty face and nice voice. They talk games. And news. Lots of news. Week very big and full with news. They make Mongo laugh. They funny.

Show this week include:

  • Xbox Live Dashboard Update preview not nice. Mongo hate.
  • Sony lose lots of money on Playstation 3. That make Mongo sad.
  • Nokia stop support of N-Gage. Mongo sad about that, too.
  • Sega Racing Classic, or another word for next Daytona game but without bad words like “Daytona” and “NASCAR,” testing in arcades now.
  • Balmer make mistake last week. Major Nelson correct. But maybe Balmer not make mistake and Major Nelson lie. Mongo confused now.
  • X-Game finally make adapter for Xbox 360. Mongo say Microsoft can suck it.
  • Nintendo announce new DSi called DSi XL. Will be larger.
  • Random stuff, email and thank yous.

Enjoy, nice people. Go night-night now.

Now that you all have PS3s, you should really create a Gamehounds shared PSN account. Splitting the cost of PSN games three ways makes them much easier to justify purchasing.

@mik:

That would be a great idea, but…

My gaming tastes differ IMMENSELY from those of my co-hosts.

Not saying it couldn’t be done, but it’d be tough. :-)

You guys do realize this is the new N-Gage (aka the gaming service included on all new Nokia phones) and not the original that is being phased out again? In my opinion that is a stupid decision, as a gaming service (which essentially was a XBL clone for cell phones) it could have make great leaps in the mobile gaming industry.

Thank you Tim for the info on USB usage on a PS3. Looks like I’ll be Purchasing SF4 again down the road, and maybe some BlazBlue to play with my X-Arcade stick.

super excited to hear Daytona USA is back, but not called Daytona USA. I really want to drive up to Chicago to go see this. Just thinking of Rolling Start not in this one kinda kills me a little.

eather way, good show guys!

Almost forgot, Edie, did you try out the Zune Markeptlace’s 1080p streaming? (a first of its kind for consoles, officially at least)

Hawkes, I was indeed listening to the literal translation of “Total Eclipse of the Heart” (and loudly, it seems!) when you guys were recording the show! I usually try to keep it down…but Eagle Ear Commander hears all, it seems! :)

Great show, as usual!

Great podcast this week, lady and gentlemen! Loved the ‘stick it to the man’ part about X-Gaming (right?) circumventing Microsoft’s completely BULLSHIT lack of reasoning behind allowing X-Gaming to make licensed adapters for the joystick.

Sorry to hear that Hawkes won’t be there for a couple of weeks. I’ll happily volunteer to be a guest if that will be of help? :-)

Awesome show, again.
