Hello everyone! My name is DaddyGamer, but the rest of the world knows me as Miguel Gonzaga.
I’m excited to be a member of the GameHounds crew. I started covering the electronic entertainment industry in 1993 and created Gamespot TV in 1998 for the now defunct Tech TV network. Video games have been a part of my life since I got hooked on the Odyssey 2000 in the late 70s. A hardcore gamer at heart and a family man in real life, I have to find the right balance to maintain my sanity. Critical? I have to be. Games are not cheap, man!
Besides the gajillions of bucks and mind-numbing technology, the game industry is also full of intriguing personalities — most are cool but there are several divas. I’m hoping I can introduce you to some of them.
My PSP 3000 and my Nintendo DS keep me company on my travels but my console-of-choice at home is the PS3. Snipe you later.

Thanks for the welcome, Bayyoc and Darn.
I’ll be coming from the “I have no time for B.S.” perspective. I’m always going to hit with time and money in mind. A lot of the so-called game journalist are out of touch with reality. Video games, like movies and toys, are a form of entertainment; nothing more. My challenge is how to balance my love-affair with this industry and my home life.
