Bare It All for a Chance To Be In Catherine’s Trailer

Now, don’t get me wrong — I’m anticipating Atlus’ hyper-bizarre, RPG-puzzle-nightmare-horror-thing with sheep title, Catherine, due out on July 26, as much as anyone and probably more than most. 

I don’t think I have the stones for this, though.

Developer Atlus is planning a trailer wherein it’s soliciting input from the game’s fans in a very personal way.

According to their press release:

We want people to think about some of the heavy ideas Catherine brings to the table, so we’ve decided to do something a little different. We want to give you a chance to be part of an upcoming Catherine trailer that lets you express your feelings on some pretty big questions:

1) Do you want to get married?
2) If so, and you happen to be seeing someone at the moment, to them?
3) If not, why?

That’s some pretty heavy stuff for a video game trailer, particularly that second one, which has the potential to make some relationships go awry. Is anyone really going to answer “no” to that? 

Although, come to think of it, in some cases “yes” might be just as bad…

Although I don’t personally have any desire to see myself in a trailer talking about this kind of thing, you certainly can if you like. Just follow the link above to Atlus’ YouTube channel and follow the rules. Meanwhile, I’ll be waiting to see what people feel comfortable divulging — and waiting even more for Catherine‘s release.
