Episode 159: Airquotes vs. Fistpumps

In: Podcasts by Edie Sellers

25 Oct 2011

Look, in this world of Plants vs. Zombies, Alien vs. Predator, Red vs. Blue, Good vs. Activision… There’s a lot of “versus” going around.

So why not bring the versus a little closer to home, right?

This week, our three intrepid podcasters — Edie Sellers, Nick Dinicola, and Holy Goalie — chat about good vs. bad when it comes to the week’s releases. And they chat up the news.

So why not hold Ears vs. Mouth, and let ears win.

Enjoy.

Fistbumps FTW!

Much as I enjoy all the talk about BF3 v. MW3, I must confess I have no desire to get either game. Call it being shootered out, I guess, compounded by economic constraints. I got Gears at launch and I have Assassin’s Creed pre-ordered, but otherwise I’m holding off.

With regard to your predictions, I’m going with whoever said (and I paraphrase) that BF3 is a very good game saddled, however unfairly, with the burden of being a CoD-killer. Hopefully, the game will settle into a groove with its usual audience once CoD drops and sells another shit-ton.

BF3 is like drinking a harsh shot of whiskey. It’s just not very smooth, and I’m not having much fun with with it at all right now.

One of my friends already traded it in. That should say something.

It’s easy to bash COD, but they have never let me down.
